Before you spend another dollar on marketing, let's make sure you're solving the right problem.

Marketing Therapy is a one-hour strategy session for founders who want to feel confident in their next marketing decision.

Alright, talk to me. What's going on?

The first thing I usually want to understand isn't the marketing tactic you're thinking about.

It's what you're actually trying to accomplish.

Because if we don't know where you're trying to go, it's really hard to decide whether a new website, social media, ads, or anything else is actually the right move.

That's the whole point of Marketing Therapy.

Before we meet, I'll ask you a few questions and spend some time looking into your business. I'd rather use our hour talking through the decision you're trying to make than spending half of it getting caught up.

By the end of the session, I want you to know what I'd recommend if this were my business, why I'm recommending it, and whether I think it's actually worth your time and money right now.

What’s Included

Marketing Therapy

$125 founding rate

A one-hour strategy session designed to help you work through one marketing challenge or decision before you spend more time or money on it.

Included:

✓ 60-minute working session

Come with one challenge, question, or decision you'd like to work through. We'll tackle it together in real time.

✓ Up to 30 minutes of prep

I'll review your intake form, website, social media, or anything else you send over so we can spend our time solving the problem instead of catching me up.

✓ Personalized Case Notes

Within 24 hours, you'll receive a written summary of our conversation, my recommendations, anything I'd intentionally leave alone for now, and your next steps.

✓ Session recording

So you can stay focused on the conversation instead of taking notes.

By the end of our session, you'll have a much better idea of what deserves your attention now, what can wait, and where I'd focus if this were my business.

Within 24 hours, I'll send over your personalized Case Notes so you don't have to remember everything we talked about.

They include:

  • A summary of what we discussed

  • What I think is really going on

  • My recommendations and why I'm making them

  • A few things I'd intentionally leave alone for now

  • Clear next steps

Sometimes that's all you need. Sometimes we uncover something bigger.

If we do, we can talk about what makes sense from there. No pressure.

Here's what you'll leave with.

before i recommend anything…

I need to understand what you're actually trying to accomplish.

I've worked in marketing long enough to know there usually isn't one right answer. Two businesses can come to me with what sounds like the exact same problem and leave with completely different recommendations because they're trying to accomplish different things.

That's why I ask so many questions.

If I'm recommending that you invest your time or your money into something, I want to believe it's actually going to help move your business forward. If I don't think it will, I'm going to tell you. Even if it means talking you out of hiring me for something.

There are already enough people online trying to convince founders they need to do more marketing. I'd rather help you figure out what actually deserves your attention right now.

I'd rather you trust my judgment than agree with every recommendation I make.

Are we the right fit?

Honestly, probably not if you're looking for someone to tell you exactly what you want to hear.

Marketing Therapy works best when you're open to another perspective. Even if it isn't the one you came in expecting.

You don't need to know exactly what the problem is before you book. In fact, a lot of founders don't. You just need to be willing to work through it with me.

On the other hand, if you're hoping to walk away with a complete marketing strategy for the next year, this probably isn't the right fit either. Marketing Therapy is designed to solve one decision or one challenge at a time. If we uncover something bigger, we can always talk about that afterward.

I'd rather have someone leave thinking, "That was exactly what I needed," than try to squeeze a bigger project into a one-hour session because that's what benefits me.

hi, i’m Stephanie.

I've spent the last 10 years helping businesses make marketing decisions across social media, influencer marketing, PR, content, analytics, and brand strategy. I've worked with global brands, startups, and local businesses, but the work I've always enjoyed most has been sitting down with someone, talking through a problem, and figuring out what actually makes sense for their business.

That's what Turn On The Light is built around.

I don't think founders need another person telling them to post more or chase the latest marketing trend. I think they need someone they trust to help them sort through the noise and make decisions that support where they're trying to take their business.

If that's what you're looking for, I'd love to help.
